#VPudseyRound2
3rd January 2018Valuing People and Children in Need 2017
VP hosted their second Children in Need event on Friday 17th November 2017 and what a success it was! Not only a success in terms of how much money it raised, but a success in how it helped to bring us closer to our clients and staff.
VP Forensics community clients were asked to get involved in creating a piece of artwork to be later auctioned off at our event. All I can say is… WOW! We definitely have some Van Gogh’s amongst us.
Allan, one of our community clients presented us with a selection of pictures he had previously created. It is safe to say his pictures was one of the main talking points during the day. Well done Allan and thank you so much for your pictures, they are amazing!
Even our Branch Manager, Samantha Harper and Trainer, Jason Prichard could not helped get involved by painting some masterpieces.
Alongside our Artwork auction, we held a Tennis challenge bringing out the competitive side in everyone. Of course we had Paula’s world famous traditional tombola, which fundraising event would be the same without it?
What did we raise?
Throughout the day, we managed to raise a fantastic £218 through all the donations and bids made on the artwork. We would like to say a massive thank you to all of you who got involved in our Children In Need 2017. It is always a pleasure to see our clients and staff getting involved, especially when there is so much laughter on the day.
Interested in getting involved in #VPudseyRound3? Keep an eye out for the event details next year. We would love for you to come and join us!
